Happy Friday! I am so glad this week is over! It has been especially challenging on a personal level and I really need to spend the weekend regrouping and taking some time off. This is an especially busy time for me workwise and it is exactly what I needed to keep my mind preoccupied. On another more positive note here are a few things that piqued my interest this week. A couple of must-browse home tours for you, the fall boots I am currently loving (just in case you missed this post), a few new and old books to snag, attempting to get organized with my jewelry and more. xoxo
1. One of the brand staples in my closet, Furla, launched its autumn/winter collection and it is just amazing! It is not like I need a new bag, but I would love to add this shoulder bag that combines all the fall colors on trend.
2. I think that I have mentioned on the blog that I am a huge fan of the Great British Bake Off. So, I have been patiently awaiting the launch of Kim Joy’s cooking book, Baking with Kim Joy: Cute and Creative Bakes to Make You Smile! Kim Joy was one of the three contestants that went to the final in the last season of the Great British Bake Off. Her bakes were always intricate and very cute featuring animals like bears, cats and turtles. Also currently in my Amazon cart: Quinntessential Baking, Half Baked Harvest Super Simple, and Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave. (Amazon has that way of getting me into trouble… it is just so easy to add to your cart isn’t it?)
3. I am currently loving these Kurt Kaiger leopard booties! Love a statement bootie for fall!
4. Shopping at Marks & Spencer Food and Home departments is one of my favorite things. Last weeek, I noticed this set of four cheese plates that I am considering of getting them. I will use them in the coming months when serving cheese platers and they make a great hostess gift as well!
5. Home tour crush: fashion designer, Ulla Johnson’s brownstone in Architectural Digest! I love how light-filled, airy, and playful it feels while still feeling sophisticated. I mean, that marble counter in the kitchen and the whimsical garden, designed by Amanda Brooks.
6. Another home tour: loved this vintage gem-filled home tour as well.
7. The number one beauty product I’m 100% addicted to. I have been buying it and using it day and night for years!
8. The jumpsuit I will be living in this fall. I first fell in love with it back in August and I order it in a whim. It looks great and I am looking forward to cooler tempratures so I can start wearing it. I plan to dress it down with sneakers and booties for a casual look.
9. I have mentioned it before but just in case, headbands are one of the must accessories of the last seasons and I have already created a little collection the last couple of months. My most recent addition is this black headband with pearls. I am tempted to get the white one as well!
10. I’ve been looking for a better jewelry organizer for a while and still am not sure what I want but I do love this travel case which have been on my wishlist for some time now.
