I have always loved summer, so July is one of the happiest times of the year for me. Even though work for a freelancer never ends, I am looking forward to spending a few days every week on the beach. Life inevitably slows down in Athens during the summer, thanks to the heat. The list of ideas I compiled for what to do in July is all about embracing the slow pace of summer days and nights.

Seven. Movie: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Two solid two hours of Abba tunes and sun-drenched azure paradise. In theaters July 20.
