On June 6th marks the 21st year anniversary since the first episode of Sex and the City aired. Sex and the City is my all-time favorite TV series. Even nowadays whenever there is a re-run I tune in and enjoy the adventures of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha. Apart from the show’s cultural prominence and how it affected its viewers, one major factor of its success is the fashion-forward style of the girls and especially Carrie’s. Who can forget her running around New York, during the second season, wearing her fur coat or the big flower pins she wore during the third season and last but not least Carrie’s gold name necklace that she wore on and off through all seasons?
