SEPTEMBER GOALS

September Goals - Fall & Apples

Hello September! I finally found the time to sit down and write this month’s goals. Last week, I started working with a new client and all my focus and time was on perfecting our first project. Hopefully, it will be a long-term collaboration and definitely good for my portfolio. At the moment, I am expending my client basis so I have to be strategic with my time in order to post daily posts on the blog. On other news, I am in a nesting mood since returning from our holidays and working on multiple home projects. So I juggle a lot this month but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Anyway, moving on here’s my month mapped out for you…

  • Clean out my closet. As I mentioned above I am in a nesting mood hence I am trying to declutter our house, starting with my closet. I want to curate my wardrobe and keep only the clothes that I love and fit me perfectly and toss, donate or sell the rest. It’s a daunting project but I have to do it in order to make room for my fall shopping.
  • Organize my pantry. I am sure you see a pattern here and it’s true. I want to reorganize my whole pantry which is a mess at the moment. My plan is to buy mason jars in various sizes and restore my pantry staples. I have already bought cute labels from IKEA and I can’t wait to tackle everything.
  • Create a blog content calendar till the end of the year. Since the next months will be extra busy, I want to create a blog content calendar so that I am consistent with posting new content. I have so many ideas for blog posts but without some organization, I won’t be able to create them on time. Already, I am working on Halloween posts and brainstorming Christmas ones.
  • Bake every weekend. I am a fan of The Great British Bake Off and an avid home baker. This season of GBBO sparked my love for baking once again. The last couple of months I haven’t been baking as much as I would want. Now, I feel inspired to try all the recipes I have been saving on Pinterest. Recipes with apples, pumpkins, spices, and chocolate are on top of my baking list.
  • Start working out at home. I know that the goal above contradicts with this one but if I want to indulge in my baking, it is high time I start working out. There are so many options to work out at home that I want to give it a try since I hate going to the gym. I already bought a new Forever21 pink yoga mat and want to buy a new pair of Nike black sneakers as well.
