Moodboard: Retreat…

I love creating a moodboard to get a visual of what I am focusing on or inspired by. January’s moodboard theme is retreat. Very into relaxation, self-care, and head-to-toe treats this month. Retreating is what I feel, I need after being in lockdown for more than two months now and we are heading into winter. I came across a quote from Brian Tracy, that I have written down and has become part of New Year, Better Me. Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it. Prioritizing your mental health in these troubling times should be on everyone’s top priority list.

Relaxation

To feel truly relaxed can be difficult amongst the madness of daily life and the stresses this can bring – but you should never give up trying. Spending just five minutes every day practicing relaxation techniques – deep breathing, meditation, writing a journal – is proven to help increase your mental health.

Self-care

After long days of working, studying, running errands, we all need to take some time for a bit of TLC. Treat yourself to some self-care from the comfort of your own home. Take a long bath, enjoy a glass of wine, apply a face mask, or light your favorite candle. Self-care can be whatever makes you feel good.

Head-to-toe Treats

Boost your skin and body care routines from head to toe. From a hair towel to an anti-aging serum, lip balm to foot cream. Create a “Retreat” beauty regime that really does have it all.
