HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT SPRING LIGHT & BRIGHT MAKEUP LOOK…

With spring in full swing, there is no better time to embrace your natural beauty with a light & bright makeup look. I am talking luminous glow, flushed cheeks, and effortless eyes. We all want to achieve the perfect “barely-there” makeup look, but it is always that bit harder than you think.

THE BASE

For the ultimate “no makeup” makeup look, you must steer clear of heavy, full-coverage foundations. That is why I recommend tinted moisturizers and BB creams for coverage that still lets your imperfections shine through. Try Bobbi Brown BB Cream SPF35 for even, radiant skin that doesn’t look greasy.

For little extra coverage under your eyes or on blemishes, try Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer. It is a two-in-one product that will leave your skin looking airbrushed without the heavy texture.

THE COLOR

For “your skin but better”, it is best to use a cream blush and blend it in with your fingers or a stippling brush. I love a multi-use product, that is why I recommend the Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm. It is ideal for use on both cheeks and lips!

To keep your complexion looking as radiant and sunkissed as possible, try Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick across the high points of your face, where the sun would naturally hit. Doing this will add color as well as that all-important glow.

THE EYES

Opt for a brown mascara instead of a black when going for a “no-makeup” makeup look. Brown mascara is softer, more natural, but will still ensure your eyes stand out. I am loving Christian Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara in brown.

For defined, fully brows that don’t look heavy on the face, it is best to use a brow gel. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel in clear will hold your brows in place all day, or try a tinted gel for more definition.
