HOST A GALENTINE’S DAY BRUNCH THIS YEAR…

February may be the season of all things Valentine’s Day, but it is also the month of one of my favorite celebrations; Galentine’s Day! The perfect opportunity to recognize those important female friendships in your life, every February 13th is all about ladies celebrating ladies, brunch style! So I am sharing my tips and tricks o hosting an unforgettable Galentine’s Day Brunch of your own.

THE SETTING

Whether you would prefer to host in your home or a suitably pink-themed café, set up your location in true Galentine’s Day style! I would suggest plenty of foiled balloons, garlands, and flowers!

THE ENTERTAINMENT

Whilst you may have a group of friends that will happily chat for hours, I would suggest having some form of entertainment for those who may be slightly shyer. Why not create a photo booth with a gold foil curtain and some props for plenty of photo fun! If you have decided to make your Galentine’s Day celebration an evening affair, why not select a couple of chick flicks for a movie night?

FOOD AND DRINKS

I would suggest serving breakfast foods such as waffles and pancakes, but don’t make it too difficult for yourself! Why not create a waffle bar so that your guests can help themselves? Make sure you have plenty of sprinkles and whipped cream – toppings galore! Pair your feast with a themed cocktail in the spirit of the day, I would suggest creating a suitably themed pink mocktail.
